March 8, 2018 – Killeen ISD students will get out of school two hours earlier than normal Friday in advance of Spring Break, school officials reminded students and parents today.

KISD schools and administrative offices and other facilities will be closed for Spring Break starting Monday, March 12, through March 16. Classes will resume as normal on Monday, March 19.

On Friday schools will have “early out” for students. Students will be released for the day two hours earlier than the usual final bell release time to begin their Spring Break. For example, Live Oak Ridge Middle School normally dismisses students for the day at 3:40 p.m. On Friday, March 9, classes at Live Oak Ridge will let out at 1:40 p.m.

Parents should contact their children’s school if they have any questions about the school’s release time on Friday.
